SUBURBAN WELCOMES.
On Monday evening, Private J.T. JENNINGS was welcomed back to Brunswick by the members of the various clubs, guild and choir of Christ Church, of which he had been a member before enlistment in the first Victorian contingent. A large congregation assembled in the church when a thanksgiving service and Te Deum were sung, and an address delivered to the young men by the vicar. After service a temperance supper and musical entertainment were given in the guild-room by the young men of the parish. During the evening the Rev. J.B. Sharp presented the guest with an inscribed gold token.
