PRESENTATION TO YEOMAN GREEN-PRICE.
The appeal made by the committee of the Ealing Association Football Club for a shilling subscription for a presentation to Mr R.H. GREEN-PRICE on his departure with the Imperial Yeomanry to South Africa met with a ready response from about 170 members and supporters of the club. At the expressed wish of the recipient a gold watch-chain was purchased. The balance of the fund was expended on a small gold medal, suitably inscribed.
Two other players who have assisted the Ealing junior teams are also on their way to the front. The Hon. Eric Thesiger has gone with the Oxfordshire Company of the Imperial Yeomanry, and Mr G.H. Wyllys, an Artist Volunteer, is one of the C.I.V. Mounted Infantrymen.
