GEMBROOK NORTH.—Privates E. A. FOSTER and N. A. SMARTT were tendered a welcome home social on Friday evening, and each of the soldiers was presented with a gold medal, suitably inscribed, on behalf of the residents, by Councillor H. James, president of the Berwick Shire.
