At Tuesday evening’s reception of the home-coming volunteers at Penzance each of the five men was presented by the Mayoress with a neat gold pendant, bearing on one side the wards, “South African War, 1901”, and on the other, “Presented to ______ by J.H. Tonking, Mayor of Penzance”.
