Reception to Trooper, P. RYAN at Rockley.
At Rockley on Saturday night, Trooper P. RYAN was accorded a hearty reception by a large gathering. The Chairman (Mr Toole, manager A.J.S. Bank), was the first speaker, and he was followed by Messrs R. L. Gilmour, J.B. Campbell, and the Rev. Tarn, all of whom extended a hearty welcome to the returned warrior. Trooper P. RYAN suitably responded and produced several trophies of the war, the uses of which he graphically explained. To some of his friends he gave some of the relics; Mr R.L. Gilmour being also a recipient.
