Seaham Harbour.

Sergt. G.W. KING, who has just returned to his home at Seaham Harbour from South Africa, where he has been serving with the 41st Company Imperial Yeomanry, was last night entertained by the members of the Seaham Wednesday Football Club and friends. The proceedings took the form of a concert at the Golden Lion Hotel, Councillor T. Chilton presiding. During the evening Sergt. KING was made the recipient of a beautiful gold medal, suitably inscribed, the presentation being made by Councillor D.J. Smith. The recipient suitably acknowledged the gift. A pleasant evening was spent, several friends and members of the club contributing to the harmony of the gathering.
