A smoke concert was tendered to Trooper MILLER, of the Seventh Contingent, by the Wellington Engineer Corps on Monday night. There was a large attendance of members of the corps. Lieutenant Tone presided, and was supported by Lieutenant Lauchlan. A presentation was made to the guest of the evening of a Maltese cross pendant. Songs were contributed by Sergeant-Major Homer, Sergeants Beales and Sappers Busing, Barlow and Furness; a violin solo by Sergeant Brown, and musical items by Messrs Hendry and De Lisle. A flashlight photograph of the company was taken by Mr J.H. Brown.
