Anglo Boer War - Cape LS & GC Medal

The Cape Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was instituted in 1896 and discontinued in 1913. It was awarded to other ranks for 18 years of irreproachable service in the full-time, Cape forces.

Approximately 100 medals were issued with the Victoria obverse. Approximately 40 were issued with the Edward VII obverse.
