Town Guards

Philippolis is a small town in the OFS, 65 miles north of Colesberg.

There is an excellent account of Philippolis during the Boer War here.

There is no medal roll for the Philippolis Town Guard.  The casualty roll records four men wounded and one killed on 16th November 1900.
