My great grandmother was brought from Pietersburg Concentration Camp in 1900 to Irene concentration camp where she slaughtered sheep and cooked for the English Soldiers. My grandmother was more than 6months old and survived this camp.My great grandmother used to cook the tripe and the hide of the sheep was softened to protect my grandmother from the cold. After the war, the women were left with no food just with their little axes which was used for chopping wood. There was famine because the crops were destroyed and animals were killed and burned. Some were still alive when they were set to fire. I believe this to be England's Vietnam today.
