David It may be worth mentioning the award of the DCM (Dominion & Colonial)(Edward VII, Natal)(MYB 42)during the Rebellion. This is one of the rarest of all British military decorations. The MYB records nine Edward VII DCM's (Natal) and one Victoria. My copy of the Natal Rebellion medal roll records only 8 names. Regards Brett
