Town Guards

I am searching for information regarding John (perhaps Joseph) Mitten, 3157. He was with the 3rd NSW Imperial Bushman. I have a summary of what the 3rd Bushmen did during the conflict, but I am wondering whether there may be more information about John, other than that given on the AWM Nominal Roll. Could you point me in the right direction? Jeff
