Town Guards

Nesbitt's Horse was an irregular unit raised in the Eastern Cape during the Boer War. Many such units also served in the South African Rebellion in 1914 and in the subsequent German South West Africa campaign, but Nesbitt's Horse does not appear on the WWI list in my possession. Perhaps it served in the later German East Africa campaign. It would be interesting to see pictures of the medals you mentioned, so perhaps you can post them on the 'Forum' section of this website.
