Books on the Boer War 10 years 2 months ago #23116

Good Morning Everyone......
There have been a number of threads lately asking about books on the ABW and of course Farwell and Pakenham always come up but there are many many more...... There is an illustrated bibliography published in 1994 called "South African War Books" by R.G. Hacket....... I thought that I had a good and widespread collection of books but after getting a copy of the above book found that I was sadly mistaken...... I have attached a partial list of books that I have in my collection and suggest to the moderators that maybe a new section strictly for books and book reviews..... If I can help by looking up anything I will be quite glad to help...... Mike P.S. Have been involved with the production of two books on the subject..... P.S.S. I should also add that a number of these books show up on our favorite auction site occasionally..... ###################################################################################### BOOKS ON THE ANGLO-BOER WAR 1899 - 1902 (Or books with a portion on the South African War) REGIMENTAL HISTORIES: 2nd QUEEN’S ROYAL REGIMENT, NOW THE QUEEN’S (ROYAL WEST SURREY) REGIMENT, THE HISTORY OF, by Colonel John Davis, Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1906, (Photocopy of Chapter 7 - The Boer War) 2nd IN THE FINEST TRADITION, THE ROYAL SCOTS DRAGOON GUARDS, (CARABINIERS AND GREYS), by Steven Wood, Butler and Tanner, 1988 5th PRINCESS CHARLOTTE OF WALES DRAGOON GUARDS - The Story of a Regiment of Horse, being the Regimental History from 1685 to 1922.
