Hi Adrian

Yes I have the book too. The chapter is a condensed summary of the armoured trains. Capt H.O. Mance D.S.O. R.E. delivered a lecture and it was published in an RE paper in 1905. Lt Russel in his diary describes some of the events he was involved with while serving on an armoured train.

I will post further information as my research continues.
