Hi all,
I have anglo boere oorlog medal named to Burg. C S Luyt
Seller of this medal told me that Luyt was wounded POW and spent some time in prisoners camp on St Helena island. Is there a medal roll for this medals, ore some one ho can help me with research.

I have a copy of the roll.

There is only one C.S.Luyt on the roll which confirms the award of the ABO and the LVW (wound ribbon).

He is Burger Carl Schubert Luyt and served with the Heilbron Commando.

His "VORM B" for the ABO and "VORM C" for the wound ribbon might have survived and should be available which will show battles participated in etc etc.

On the POW roll there is a Carl Joubert Luyt of the Heilbron Commando, home address Mooiplats, Heilbron, not married. He was captured at Acton Homes and sent to Ceylon.
