While researching the politics of the origins of the War in South Africa it is easy to get a perspective from Westminster due to excellent sites like:

www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/

However, getting a perspective from the Colonies is more of a challenge! Australia and New Zealand are well provided for. But South Africa is - so far as I can make out - lacking in any central newspaper archive that is accessible online.

Has anyone got any thoughts, ideas - or better still - a web link that will allow me to rummage in the archives of past issues of, in particular, The Johannesburg Star in the run-up to the outbreak of War?
