I photographed a school's ABW memorial yesterday and, following a name search here, found that two of the men had consecutive service numbers, and were in the same company and battalion of the Imperial Yeomanry. Is it safe to assume that they joined up at the same place and time?

Remarkably, they died with 5 days of each other.

I think the obvious thing to do would be to simply look at their papers in WO128 as well as the relevant casualty returns, before making any assumption.
