I have found the above in the Anglo-Boer war records 1899-1902 Will the names of his parents be on any records?

Robbins, an eighteen year old groom from Wells joined the Militia, the 4th Somerset LI , his parentage is not shown in WO96, a brief look at RG11 and RG12 suggests they were likely to have been Charles and Sarah Robbins.
