In with the attestation papers for the CoCR were two of these identify cards. I had not seen these before.

It is interesting that both these enlistee's were Australian, does any know if they had previous service in any Australian raised units.

P244 Ranger Vernon Anderson appears only to have served with the CofCR and enlisted at Pretoria on 22/4/01
P240 Ranger A Buchanan has previous service with NSWCBC and later ANMEF and 17th Bn., AIF.
A quick run-down by eye of the Smith CofCR booklet shows a smattering of chaps with previous service in Australian raised units - or even subsequent service.
