I thought that the following would be of interest to some of us.

Today I went into the Archives to do a bit of CMR research but couldn't get upstairs as the lifts were out of order. Suitably annoyed I decided to sit in the reading room and scratch around with a few references that I haven't looked at before and have a look at some estate files etc. To my surprise one of the refs were roll pages for the BSAC medal for 1893, about 40 in all.

I was rather surprised as I would not have thought that they were to be found in Cape Town . I took photos of a couple of the pages and the covering letter for all to see.
