All clasps, sorted by frequency, where the total cost of the group/single was less than or equal to £2,000

For what it is worth that order of scarcity by sale does match # issued:

1. DoM (least # number issued) - 1
2. Wepener - 2
3. RoM - 3
4. Elandslaagte - 6
5. Rhodesia - 4
6. Talana - 7
7. DoK - 5

Have you excluded duplicate sales of the same medal/group?

It seems Elandslaagte and DoK are a popular medal to sell.

Meurig,

I have been spending quite a few hours cleaning the data for analysis and there is still more to do. There are occasions when, for example, QSA with 3 clasps is listed but 2 or 4 clasps are listed and examples where unofficial clasps such as ORC are included on the medal. I have calculated the number of clasps based on the clasps named in the catalogue but this may be incorrect, included unofficial clasps and, so far, included duplicate medals.

I am currently working on the string of text that comprises the QSA naming to separate the various parts. This is quite challenging but strangely enjoyable.

I have just added the 219 lots from the last DNW auction.
