Given the haste with which these medals were named between 13 and 14 February 1901 I am guessing they are impressed. Has anyone seen examples to verify this?

With thanks

Good Morning David...…

Yes that is correct, all that I have seen including the Sam Steele medal has been impressed..... They all still had the same error, the inverted apostrophe which is in the units name..... You can tell all first issues due to this mistake.....

Take a look at this thread: www.angloboerwar.com/forum/5-medals-and-...-acquisition?start=6
