Is there any resource anywhere which details and tracks the movements of each and every (or most) Boer Commandos'?

By way of example I have an ABO medal to a Burger who served with the Soutpansberg Commando and am compelled, from a research point of view, to trawl through either Amery or Maurice to gain an inkling as to where they fought etc.

Regards

Rory

I know of no histories of Commandos, unfortunately.
The past is not dead. In fact, it's not even past.

Rory,
Darrell Hall produced a book titled "The Hall Handbook of the Anglo Boer War " In it he gives an overview of where each Commando served. As far as I know, there was never any Commando unit history produced,
