A silly request, I know.
I have mis-laid my copy of Adventures of a Boer Family by Victor Pohl.
Could anyone tell me what Commando Willie Pohl was with whilst in Natal (upper Tugela), as well as his comrade Bernardus Rudolph BUYS, who exposed his buttocks to the enemy at Tabanyama but who mis-timed a British volley on Spioenkop with fatal results?

I have found online some hi-res photos of the burger monument on Spioenkop and I see the unfortunate Bernardus Rudolph BUYS was a Johannesburger.
Sorry to have inconvenienced anyone, but hope the incident amused some. I thought it might have been a tall story until I saw Buys' name on the WMBR database of burger deaths.
