A question for anyone with access to the casualty rolls.... I have acquired a QSA, clasps Talana and Relief of Ladysmith, to 4553 Pte. Thomas McHughes of the RDF. He was invalided in February 1900 but still qualified for the KSA which is MIA.

Was he wounded? Why did he not earn other clasps like his comrades?

Regards

Rory

Rory,

Is he McHugh?

I think he only earned Tal and RoL.

No evidence of being wounded on the casualty roll of in Romer's book: www.angloboerwar.com/books/77-romer-the-.../1601-romer-appendix
