Just purchased a medal with x6 clasps to 2nd DCLI.

Other medals I have seen to the same regiment have many less and different clasps

Was the DCLI split up to fill gaps?

I have enclosed a couple of rolls ,as you can see certain soldiers also received the same 6 clasps. It is possible they served in the same company.

You would have thought it would be 80% instead of 40% if the regt was kept together ?
