Dear Forum
Just another quick question.
Where would I find information pertaining to Charles Olson / Ohlson in regards to his Natal medal 1906. I have just become the custodian of his QSA and his son's QSA, Natal 1906 and WW1 medals. Is there any documentation recording if the Natal medal was ever issued to Charles after his death in 1906? I'm guessing this paper work may be held in the South Africa archives?

As ever, your knowledge and help will be most appreciated.

Dave.......
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Best regards,

Hello Dave,

As far as I know the original Natal 06 rolls have gone missing and been unseen for years. I think your best bet is the published roll for confirmation purposes.

The four men who died at Robinson's Drift are

The nearest match to C Ohlsen in WO126/135 is Swede, 1040 Oscar Ohleson.
