During the second Boer War, if someone from North Wales wanted to join a mounted troop of any kind, what would have been the most local regiment?

Hiraeth,

While there were line regiments in North Wales he could have enlisted in, to join a mounted unit, he would have had to join the Imperial Yeomanry after December 1899.
