As we know, life is full of coincidences. For those who don't know, the back issues (those that matter) of the Rhodesia Herald and the Bulawayo Chronicle are on line. How gratifying was it then to see, in the Rhodesia Herald of 1 April 1896, adverts in respect of two of my medal recipients bordering one another.
