Good day everyone,

I'm totally ignorant when it comes to chaplains and their classifications. What exactly is a Chaplain 4th Class? How many classes were there and what were their respective "jobs"? I'm particularly interested in chaplains in the Second Anglo-Boer War and would be most appreciative for any and all information.
