Can anyone enlighten me where to look to established what were blocks of numbers allocated to each country yeomanry regiment to use to number recruits for the newly raised imperial yeomanry service companies?
The first contingent of the Berks Yeomanry were allocated numbers starting 6000 but I don not know up to what the numbers ran to.

I have not seen that information in a document.

Looking at the roll for the 39th Company, the numbers do have a block starting from 6001 but then show much more variety after 6122
