The KSA roll gives entitlement to the KSA . For the majority of recipients, the entitlement will be to the two clasps 'South Africa 1901' and 'South Africa 1902' although some recipients have only a single data clasp.

Notes

This column can contain details of service in other units and other events affecting the recipient.



Creation place and date

Where the roll was written. This is similar to the QSA page.

Signature

The signature of the person responsible for the roll, usually the unit commanding officer. This is similar to the QSA page.

National Archives reference

Not part of the original roll but appended by the National Archives. This reference plus the page number (near the signature area), uniquely identifies a page. This is similar to the QSA page.
