This cabinet photo was taken by W. Klisser, Cape Colony. The man seated in the corner chair wears a leopard skin band on his hat and wears spurs and jodphurs. All wear a ribbon bar, one uniform has breast pockets, and unmounted lance corporals stripes are on the sleves of the seated man on the right. Your thoughts about the possible identity, date, and other details are appreciated.

Blackhawk,

Welcome to the forum! You have set quite a challenging first question too! Uniforms are not my strong point so I hope others can help you with your query.

Best wishes

Hello Blackhawk.....

Welcome to the forum.....

With them all wearing ribbon bars is it possible that this was taken after 1902 when the medals had been issued.....

Hello,
I agree with Mike and I'd say the ribbon bar is a QSA!
