I recently found an old photograph lurking in the pages of an old family bible.
I wondered if anyone could shed any light on its origins for me.
Thanks
Jeremy

Hello Jeremy......

This looks very familiar.... I have an album of photos taken of the Highland Light Infantry in India in 1910 and I think that this may be one of them.....

It is packed away right now and will have to dig it out.....

Just remembered I have two pictures that I dug out for someone else......

Look at the background.....

Thanks Mike, It wouldn't surprise me with the Highland connection as the person to whom the Bible belonged had scottish roots. The last entry in the bible was around the 1880s. The family Is believed to be resident in Scotland according to the Ancestry.com website around this time. If you do have anymore information I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Jeremy
