According to "List Of Casualities in the Soth African Field Force from 21st March to 31st June 1900"[/i] (page 28 and 29), almost the entire of M Battery was taken Prisoner at Sanna's Post. But I cannot find any record of them being on site or being released with others from the same battle.

Any ideas?

From a number of spot checks it would seem that there was a transcription error : according to the QSA roll these men were in "U" Battery>
