Dear friends,
I am adding here a photo of the three nurses in the Swedish Ambulance that was used in the battle at Magersfontein during the last days in December of 1899.
The Scandinavian Corps fought with the Boer Commandoes and some 40 of the Corps were killed or taken prisoners. The Ambulance, in a biography, explained that they attended to wounded from both sides.

Any photos for use in the forum must have a size equal to or less than 1000 x 1000 pixels. JPG files work well.

The easiest way to include an image in a post is to:

1. Reply to, create or open an existing post
2. Below the text area, click on Add File
3. Navigate to the file you require, highlight it and click Open
4. You will then see the file listed in the area below the main text box
5. You can follow this process to add more files
6. To insert the image in the text, move the cursor to the required place in the text (often a blank line between paragraphs) and then click on the word Insert next to the name of the image. This action will add some text in square brackets which tells the forum which image to display and where to display it.
7. Click on Submit to save the post. If all is well, you will see your post and the image(s).
8. If it does not look as you would like it, you can edit the post and make changes before resubmitting it.
