Hello All -

I recently picked up this trio attributed to E.J. Jenkins. The LS&GC has him as Drummer which is what piqued my interest.
All three medals are impressed 3158 Pte / L/Cpl / Dmr, respectively, DEVON R.
The medals all look good, although the clasps have been fiddled with. TH, RofL & Bel would seem to be a correct combination though.

I have tried my best on-line in trying to trace him. I did find an Ernst Jenkins, Devonshire Reg 2599, in the WWI Death Register for 1916 - I dont think it is the same man though.

I have asked for his papers, but maybe someone here might have some info? Any help would be much appreciated.

A long shot I know but perhaps it's the same man!!!
