There are many items that would appeal to you. Pleased you were successful.

I tried hard on the Albert medal but was blown out of the water. I got the South Africa 1853 to the CMR instead. Missed out the QSA with Natal and Relief of Mafeking that I considered very interesting, it went for a good price. At least I can sleep tonight.

Not that I am a competitive man in anyway, but I was delighted to see that my collection of Queen's South Africa Medals to Colonial Units is bigger than somebody else's ; )

Not a bad medal for starters- RoM & OFS Transkei MR, started in Kimberley Vol Rgt to earn RoM - what was he doing before, was he in Kimberley in the siege but not in uniform? Something Rory might like to research
