Does anyone know anything about Sergeant Harry Powell, of the Gordon Highlanders, who was wounded at Elands Laagte?

Mr. J.H. WALDRON, 124, DARTMOUTH STREET, WEST BROMWICH.

"Last Wednesday week we started a small box to South Africa to a sergeant of the Gordon Highlanders who was wounded at Elands Laagte, containing part things from ourselves and part from friends - plum-pudding, tins of milk, pipes, cigars, hospital bandages, and tins of Vi-Cocoa. We consider that Dr. Tibbles' Vi-Cocoa is the finest cocoa we could send for gaining strength. Our three children gave up part of their Vi-Cocoa, which they have daily, so that we could send extra cocoa to their uncle Harry.

"We do not write this for advertisement in any way, but our children did miss their Vi-Cocoa, I can assure you, but they were glad to sacrifice it for their Uncle.

"We, that is my good wife and self, miss Vi-Cocoa when it runs short towards the end of the week.

"I may say that Sergeant H. Powell, when here early last year and also the year before, thoroughly enjoyed each morning his Vi-Cocoa at our house, and that is the reason I sent it.

"Our three children prefer Vi-Cocoa, and have no other."
