... or the Boer War equivalent.

People never cease to amaze me. Years of family research, I bore people to death with latest findings etc.
"Oh, might have something in the attic you might be interested in. You mentioned the Boer War?" (Only 25k times)

Apparently whittled by my GG Grandfather during the slow days. Anyway, thought somebody here might appreciate a look...

By the way, he was a reservist - left to SA on the Brittanic. Is there any possibility they called at India to pick up other regiments before arriving at the Cape?

Great pictures - many thanks.

The ports where the ships landed were recorded in the newspapers so it should be possible to track the Britannic.
