I came across this catalogue from Charles Lusted from December 1972 and wondered if it brought back happy memories for others as it did for me?

Hi
In the 1980's I often bought items from Lusted catalogues. Each catalogue at the time had a starting date : this was a method of giving more than the UK collectors a chance. Remember : this was before the Internet and catalogues came by mail.
My most memorable Lusted catalogue was the one dated 22 Nov 1984 and especially Item G9

Very early that morning I phoned and I almost fell off my chair when Charles confirmed that the Saxty pair was mine. As consolation, in case I did not get Saxty, I marked G22: needless to say there was no money left to add the Sannas Post pair to the bag.

I am well aware the medals are off-topic, but at least the Lusted connection is there!

I had a large number inherited from a deceased friend. The days of collecting regiments rather than recipients.
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.
I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.
