Hi new here.
My great-grandfather was in the Boer war (I have his SA medal-No.394, Trpr W.Noble, Ceylon MI). I also found the following item in my late fathers attic whilst having a sort out & was curious to know what it is. If anyone can shed some light on it I would be very grateful!
