It may not seem like much, but finding the missing KSA to 5442 Pte. J Ward was my best find of 2016.
Here they are back where they should be, together again.

Anytime you can do a reunite it is a great find and feeling......

The one I had this year fell apart as the KSA was re-named and very badly at that.......

I am very happy for you, John. Making the re-unite was certainly a great achievement. I notice there are stains on the back of the ribbons that may be evidence that the two medals were once stored together for a long time, so I wonder when and why they parted company.
