Can anyone make out where George Whitehouse's place of death was? The third word is clearly Siding, the second could begin with a J. Dreadful gothic-style lettering.

Berenice
Palmer roll has it as "L/Cpl. W.Whitehouse 23617, DofD, Bloemfontein, 10/4/00" (38th Co). The gothic script looks like "Rooi Dam Siding".
Interestingly, SAFF shows "DofD, Karee".

Watt, simply states, Bloemfontein on the 10th of April 1900 and confirms internment at the President Brand cemetery.
