There was lots of room and the queues of people waiting to move to the front of the line to gaze into the display cases was less than in past years. Whether this was because dealers’ displays were spread over a wider area or there were less people I am not sure.
It was though a great opportunity to meet up with fellow collectors.
My only purchase was a Paardeberg clasp for the Anglo Boer War Museum.
I was actually rather disappointed, it all seemed a little thin on the ground, really good medals appear to be increasingly difficult to find these days and I ended up buying nothing whatsoever significant, sadly a wasted day.
