A Central News message from Durban states that a trooper of Strathcona's Horse and a native attached to the corps were killed by lions in the Selati district last week.

Checked Strathcona casualty list and daily routine orders for the period a month either side of date and cannot find anything..... There was a notice in the August orders about lost and stolen kit...….
