Not sure if the naming on the SAGS is kosher. Perhaps someone has examples to this unit? I can't find him on the SAGS rolls on Ancestry but they are incomplete.

BB&M says 'Many different varieties and size of officially engraved upright and sloping capitals are found'.

As Rory says, we need another 88th Foot to compare. 1,074 medals to the 88th (Connaught Rangers).
