One of my friends alerted me to this week's episode of the Antiques Roadshow ( www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000qqr4/a...2-what-happened-next if you're in the UK) as one of the pieces related to a presenter who has been involved in the case of a man forging decorations (MC, DFC and AFC) and passing these off as genuine.

You have to have a TV Licence to watch it, so I can't, and presumably anyone outside the UK can't watch it either.

The amount of stuff that this idiot was manufacturing is truly remarkable, he was convicted for the manufacture of decorations and making up counterfeit groups to particular recipients who had earned one of the decorations, he had also been retailing completely spurious helmet plates and badges for a number of years.
