Just saw this in an auction from Johannesburg South Africa...... Do not know the subject of the cards but the location and date they may be some from the Boer War...... If there is a member who could possibly check for us it would help if they could look at them.....

Here is another set that has shown up on echobay.......



1900 Boer War stereoView Cards By Underwood And Underwood.
These are a complete set of Stereo View cards. Numbered 1-100.
The cards have been contained in their original box. The box resembles a 2 volume encyclopaedia book, original covering.
Each card is captioned on the front in English. On the back of several cards they have a full description in English , French , German , Spanish , Swedish and Russian.
The cards themselves are in verygood condition and have been well preserved.
The box is original and has wear and tear. As seen in pictures. Although this item is over 100 years old. This must be considered.
These are a very rare item to come by, especially numbered.
They are definitely a collectors item.
Dimensions are : 20cm by 10 cm.
